Situated in quiet Trinity Square - a quiet, sunny oasis of calm on the bustling quayside - the apartment is only a minute's walk to the Newcastle quayside but also very close to the city centre. Arguably the best restaurant in Newcastle (Cafe 21) is literally a stone's throw from the apartment as are numerous other great restaurants and bars. However, uniquely, the clubs, shopping, theatre and buzz of Newcastle city centre are also only a few minutes walk.
Newcastle Central Station is only a short walk from the apartment and is a gateway to Newcastle's suburban Metro system as well as trains further afield to destinations such as Edinburgh and Durham. Taxis are also plentiful at the station, although a contact list is in the apartment. Newcastle is a compact city and most things in the centre can be accessed quickly by walking from the apartment.
The regular quayside bus service, only a minute or so from the apartment, is the easy way to get around and will take you to the city centre quickly and easily.
The apartment has two bedrooms, lovely designer bathrooms (one en-suite), covered secure parking and a huge communal kitchen/lounge area with a Juliette balcony overlooking trees and a quiet courtyard.
The large, comfortable lounge opens onto the balcony, and has a large flatscreen TV, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, free wireless broadband. plus a dining table with seating for six people. The big kitchen area at the end of the lounge has a breakfast bar, all the utensils and equipment you could want plus plenty of space for socialising and chatting while the meals are cooked. The whole kitchen/lounge area is great for socialising with more than enough space for people to comfortably relax.
The balcony overlooks a quiet, leafy courtyard and being south-facing opens up the lounge to the sunshine.
The kitchen has a separate oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer plus disshwasher tablets, laundry detergent, washing up liquid etx is all provided. Apart from food and drink everything is provided.
A free, secure, allocated covered parking space is available in the basement of the Manor Chare apartment block. A lift from the parking area goes up to the apartment.
The apartment comes with many small items that make a stay enjoyable and hassle-free, such as a hair-dryer, ironing board and iron, free tea and coffee, secure entry to the building, on-call maintenance for any problems, extra towels/bedding if required, high chair and travel cot.
